Penny is the intimate cinematic portrait of a woman who grew up in the 60's, in working class England, and her journey of a bohemian life that takes her on exotic and disturbing adventures in squats in Europe and a bus trip to Asia in the 70s, dealing with the consequences of violent relationships and a lifelong guilt with a family member, coming full circle back to where she began. The story deals with abandonment, reconciliation, loss, travel and cats.. lots of cats.
